its 10 Feb already!!
=( reality of school still hasnt quite sunk in
no thanks to chinese new year ;)
but i had a great time with my family cause daddy and sis came back too

its nice everytime every of my family is gathered.
when will the whole family come together?
soon, soon =)

ive been also rather busy that i havent got a chance to start on my individual assignments.
oh my goodness.
but step by step, one at a time.
i was busy with conversing with my dad's "PA" regarding my MBA application to Jiao Tong University.
meh, i know i can converse in english with her but what better way to brush up my mandarin than to type in chinese characters now??

woah, super time consuming.
for the first email i sent to her, i typed in English first,
then translate it to Mandarin.
for the subsequent letters, im able to do away with the "translating process".

but still, thank God so much for google translate- especially for those technical kinda thingys.
^^ hey, i always felt it was God's planning..
indeed He has caused all things to be beautiful in its time!
my mandarin has always been improving.
i bet you my primary school friends are shocked at my chinese language's improvement!

steffanie sure can testify.
i still scraped an "A" for my mandarin in my PSLE.
phew. hahah, woah, those days were REMEDIAL FOR CHINESE all the way.
thank God for Ms. Deng and my good friend, Cai Feng (from China)
they really helped me tons.
i still remember when i was in P1, i could barely speak an inkling of mandarin.
i got all my chinese friends frustrated. HAHAHA.

i studied at Marsiling Primary School, so it was relatively near the Causeway.
quite a few of my classmates were from Malaysia,
so they were very accustomed to speaking in mandarin rather english.
gosh, i had to clarify with them many of the verbs etc etc.

then it was secondary school.
my closest circle of friends then were steffanie, mindy and jacelyn.
again they preferred conversing in mandarin.
and i think they mentioned a few times about how harrowing the experience was,
for them to keep explaining nearly every sentence of what they spoke to me,
in English.

hehe. then i scored an A2 at the O' levels.
hehehe. with the INTENSE help of Mdm Fong and Steffanie, of course.
she was taking Higher Chinese for goodness sake!!
and i think i helped her.. in English, but to a far lesser extent?

then the A' levels.
my close circle this time were Ziying and Xin Yu.
we spoke both English and Mandarin, la.
so it balanced out well but my General Paper sucked- a D...
but i really thank God i passed it
hahaha. but i got an A for my chinese!!
only merit for oral.. but who cares!!
it was an A overall!!
hehehehhehe.
imagine my glee.

who said i jiak kantang?
but now i feel neither proficient in my angmoh and mandarin.
like that how ah?
just let it be. hehehe.

more to come.
i always believed i was destined for greater things =)
because i have a good God who has plans to prosper me.
weehee.
i cant wait to see what He has in store for me.
KYAAAAAAAAAAAA~

shalom!
